Terms of Service

1. What OpenFairway is

OpenFairway is a marketplace that connects golf clubs hosting corporate and charity outings (“Clubs”) with organizers looking to book a venue (“Organizers”). We provide search, listing, and messaging tools so the two sides can find each other and communicate directly.

OpenFairway is not a party to any outing booking. Once a Club and Organizer connect through the Site, any agreement, contract, package, pricing, deposit, or payment for the actual outing is made directly between them, off-platform. We don't process those payments, guarantee availability, verify pricing, or mediate disputes about the outing itself.

2. Accounts

• You must provide accurate information when creating an account and keep it up to date.
• You're responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your password secure.
• Club accounts represent that they have the authority to list the club(s) they add to the Site.
• One account per person or club — don't create accounts to evade a suspension or ban.

3. Club memberships & billing

• Listing a club publicly requires an active Club Membership, billed monthly or annually as shown at checkout.
• New clubs get a 60-day free trial; a payment method is collected up front but not charged until the trial ends.
• Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel anytime from your dashboard's billing panel — your listing stays live through the end of the paid period, then comes down.
• Fees are processed securely through Stripe. See our Privacy Policy for how payment data is handled.
• Prices may change for future billing periods; we'll give notice before any change takes effect for existing subscribers.

4. Listings & content

Clubs are responsible for the accuracy of their own listings. When you post a listing, you agree that:

• Pricing, availability, capacity, and course details are accurate to the best of your knowledge and kept up to date.
• Photos are either owned by you or used with permission.
• The club has the right to host the outings, events, and group sizes described in the listing.

We may remove any listing, message, or account that's inaccurate, fraudulent, abusive, or otherwise violates these Terms.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Site for anything unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful.
• Post false, misleading, or discriminatory listings or messages.
• Scrape, copy, or systematically harvest listing or user data from the Site.
• Attempt to bypass account, security, or billing controls.
• Use messaging to spam users unrelated to a genuine outing inquiry.

6. Disclaimers

The Site is provided “as is.” We don't guarantee that any listing is accurate, that any Club or Organizer will follow through on a booking, or that the Site will be error-free or uninterrupted. OpenFairway is a discovery and communication tool — you're responsible for vetting any Club or Organizer you transact with, and for the terms of any agreement you make with them directly.

7. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, OpenFairway is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Site, or from any outing, agreement, or dispute between a Club and an Organizer. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Site is limited to the amount you paid us, if any, in the 12 months before the claim arose.

8. Termination

You can stop using the Site and close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate an account that violates these Terms, at our discretion, with or without notice.

9. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as the Site evolves. If we make material changes, we'll update the date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify you directly. Continued use of the Site after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
